Practical access for community work
Community access is not initiated by technology - it's made by people. Community-serving work is often steady, local, and underfunded. It may not come with a large budget, but it can still deserve useful tools. From across Pantheon and partnering organizations, we make selected products available through free or discounted access when there is a clear community benefit, a realistic use case, and a good product fit. Community Access is rooted in our members' ethos of giving, whether charity, zakat, dana, or other forms of generosity. The goal is practical support for people already doing meaningful work.

Application criteria
Requests are reviewed on a rolling basis. We prioritize projects with clear community benefit, a clear project owner, a realistic use case, limited budget, and a strong fit with an available Pantheon product. The key questions are: Who does this serve? What are you trying to do? Why is free or discounted access needed? Is there a practical plan for using the product?
Who is this program for?
Community Access is for citizen scientists, neighborhood organizations, nonprofits, small civic teams, and other community-serving projects where software could help and budget is a real constraint.
Tailored support
Support depends on the product and team availability. When possible, we help participants get oriented with the relevant tool, dataset, or workflow.
Is every request accepted?
No. Access is limited and reviewed case by case. Each participating company or product may set its own license limits, usage limits, or availability windows.
Are applications on a rolling basis?
Yes, please feel free to apply at any point in the year. To apply, simply select Community Access Applicant in the contact form below. We will get in touch shortly with a short application. After this has been filled out, our team will review before sending a final decision.
